The WELKFORDER WFL021 Single Leg 6-Foot Fall Protection Internal Shock Absorber Stretchable Lanyard is designed to minimize the consequences of a fall from a height by incorporating a built-in deceleration system. This lanyard has been fully tested and passed the authoritative laboratory tests in accordance with ANSI Z359.13-2013. It is suitable for all-day job performance for users within the capacity range of 130 to 310 pounds (59 to 140 kg), making it ideal for construction workers, carpenters, painters, roofers, tower climbers, window cleaners, and others.
The Internal Shock Absorbers of the WELKFORDER WFL021 are designed for up to 6-foot free fall applications with a maximum capacity of 310 lb. (141 kg), including clothing and tools. The maximum deployment distance is 48 inches/1.2m, and the average arresting force is 900 lbs. The lanyard has been statically tested to have a minimum breaking strength of more than 5,000 pounds (22.2 kN).
The External Tubular webbing of the WELKFORDER WFL021 is made of 100% polyester Heavy Duty construction materials, providing maximum security with a breaking strength of 5,000 lbs. The stretchable internal elastic makes for a prominent working condition. The lanyard is also equipped with Anti-abrasive Hollow Webbing to protect every connecting end from abrasion.
The Snap and Rebar Hooks used on the WELKFORDER Internal Shock Absorber Stretchable Lanyard are marked with the "ANSI Z359.12" standard, which means they are self-locking with a minimum tensile break strength of 5,000 lb. and a 3,600 lb. gate rating. The Snap hook should be connected to the dorsal D-ring of the full body harness as a part of a personal fall arrest system.
It is essential to note that WELKFORDER Fall protection equipment must be used by a Competent Person. Alternatively, the user must read and fully understand the limitations and proper use of the Fall protection equipment, and be properly trained by the Competent Person prior to use.
